Québec has more than 12,000 km of cycling routes, including the Route Verte (5,300 km), the largest cycling network in North America. CycloQuébec lists over 800 bike paths and routes with maps, distances, elevation and GPX files.

The Route Verte is a 5,300+ km cycling network crossing all of Québec, linking regions through bike paths, bike lanes and signed roads. Inaugurated in 2007, it is considered one of the greatest cycling routes in the world.

Most Québec bike paths open between mid-April and mid-May depending on the region and snowmelt, and remain rideable until the end of October.
