About this event

The first round of the Coupe du Québec downhill (DH) series held at Camp Fortune, a resort in Chelsea in the Outaouais. Riders race down the lift-served gravity mountain bike trails on a timed course. An FQSC-sanctioned competition, open to licensed riders in all categories.

The route

Coupe du Québec DH #1 - Camp Fortune is a cycling race starting from Camp Fortune. Depending on the event, several distances and categories are usually offered on a timed course.

Practical notes

Registration is usually done in advance online — spots can be limited.
A helmet is mandatory and your bib must be visible during the race.
Arrive early for bib pickup, warm-up and parking.
Check the Québec weather the day before and dress accordingly — mornings can be cool.
Make sure your bike is in good shape: brakes, drivetrain and especially tire pressure.
Bring water and a snack, plus a lock if you need to leave your bike.
