About this event

The second round of the Coupe Laferté Bicycles, a series of four regional cross-country (XCO) races organized by the Club de vélo de montagne de Trois-Rivières (CVM3R), held at the L'Énergik centre (Énergie CMB) in Mauricie. A race on natural, technical trails open to FQSC-licensed riders in all categories. The 2026 edition marks the 5th year of the Coupe Laferté.

The route

Coupe Laferté #2 - L’Énergik is a cycling race starting from Mauricie. Depending on the event, several distances and categories are usually offered on a timed course.

Practical notes

Registration is usually done in advance online — spots can be limited.
A helmet is mandatory and your bib must be visible during the race.
Arrive early for bib pickup, warm-up and parking.
Check the Québec weather the day before and dress accordingly — mornings can be cool.
Make sure your bike is in good shape: brakes, drivetrain and especially tire pressure.
Bring water and a snack, plus a lock if you need to leave your bike.

Tip: set your tire pressure based on your weight and the surface before you head out.
